Not your mother's cookbooks
Not Your Mother’s is a series of small cooklets produced by EvilEye Publishing. These books are a set of three, including Blissful Brunch, Enticing Entrees, and Delicious Desserts. The printed books are pamphlet stitched with a bow in the center spread to give a personalized feel, as well as a belly band with a die-cut of the publisher’s logo to hold the books together. The series has an emphasis on single page photography with wide margins on all sides. This white space provides hierarchy between the text and the imagery, so the title is seen first. All of the cooklets follow a three column grid to ensure a sense of balance and to keep integrity from one book to the next.
